Living in Cambodia

The Kingdom of Cambodia is bordered by Thailand, Laos and Vietnam and is one of the fastest growing economies in Asia. It’s one of the most naturally beautiful places on the continent, rich in culture and history and beaches which lie to the South West of the country. Phnom Penh is the political, economic and cultural centre of Cambodia where many international teachers are based. For international teachers working here, they benefit from a friendly population as well as the ability to visit other stunning locations around the Gulf of Thailand. The cost of living is reasonable with a 2-bedroom apartment in the capital costing $500 per month. Meals out cost around $2 and you can hire a nanny or housekeeper if you wish for $120 per month.
